Mathnasium Success Grows as Franchisees Multiply Across Australia

Mathnasium has grown to 14 operating centres across Australia, with four more already preparing to open:

  • Glen Waverley, VIC

  • Castle Hill, NSW

  • Sunnybank, QLD

  • Canning Vale, WA

Across the network, Mathnasium has achieved 38 percent year-on-year growth, supported by a further 12 percent uplift from mature centres. Tutoring is a competitive space, so sustained growth at this level really matters.

The brand also opened its first company-owned centre this year, with another already planned for early 2026. It is clear that the leadership team is investing in the system as much as the franchisees are.

 

Going Multi-Site

One of the strongest indicators of a healthy franchise system is internal expansion, and Mathnasium is seeing exactly that.

Several franchise partners have already taken the leap into multi-site ownership:

  • The Upper Mount Gravatt franchisee opened Indooroopilly in March 2025

  • The Five Dock franchisee opened Miranda in August 2025

  • The Rouse Hill franchisee will open Castle Hill in February 2026

Next year will also introduce Mathnasium's first three-centre operator, with the Upper Mount Gravatt partner securing Sunnybank as their third location. On top of this, more franchisees are already in discussions for their second centres.
